Tandem charges are provided as a main hollow charge and pre-hollow charge in a warhead. The latter is positioned at the front end of a spacer (9) which is displaceable forwards, with a pyrotechnic element away from the main charge, in a guide (12) provided in the front structure (13) of the warhead. At the rear end of the spacer is a housing (18) with a chamber (17) which accommodates the pyrotechnic element. The chamber is divided into gas generation and expansion (24) chambers, which are connected by throttle bores. The gas produced escapes from the expansion chamber through bores (25) in a direction against the direction of displacement into an annular member, adapted to the warhead cladding and in the form of a nozzle with additional radial apertures.
